Central Station is a for profit venture of the Communiversity, a grass roots organization, out of Charleston SC. We are a culture shop and community based educational space that specializes in “Cultural orientation and worldview from a centered perspective”. We carry books, documentaries, health & beauty, clothing, custom jewelry and many other products that reflect the Africans from America, their experiences in America, and the “grey” history left out of the traditional history.

It all started…
February 13, 2000. That's when I looked into the eyes of my first born son and realized that he was gonna look to and depend on me for answers. At 23 years old I already knew what is was like to live in the real world yet at that moment, the world had gotten much more intense! I wanted to learn more. More about my self, my history, and my culture. 20 years and 3 sons later its now about our history, our culture and how we can positively effect future generations.
